Ways To Save Travel Memories

People always say that you keep a piece of every trip you go on with you everywhere you go. Some of us give in to the tourist traps filled with trinkets and gadgets, while some of us are experience people, who may not stop in a gift shop, but will come home from a trip with piles of tickets, wristbands and more from the things they did on their trip. Whether you’re a trinket person, an experience person, or somewhere in the middle, here are some of the best ways to save your travel memories to reminisce and share with your friends and family for years to come.

Travel Diary

One way that not only passes time but also is a perfect way to show off your travel memories is to create a travel diary. You can buy line or grid notebooks (Moleskin is a great please for these), and paste in tickets, receipts, photos. You can also write captions, funny memories, and any other relevant details that you want to include to add to your diary!

Scrapbook

Similar to a travel diary, you can also create a travel scrapbook! You can buy empty scrapbooks like this or even hit stores like Joann for themed scrapbook pages. Scrapbooks don’t always leave a space of captions, but that can be a great option to let the pictures speak for themselves! Scrapbooks also make great coffee table books perfect for when you have guests over.

Shadow boxes

Especially for the people who love to collect trinkets, you can order a shadow box to install on your wall to display them! They make an awesome addition to any room in your home.

Photo Wall

If you’re someone who takes lots of pictures, you may want to create a photo wall! You can compile your favorites, then send them to a store like CVS or Walgreens, and pick them up the same day! Then you can stick them up on your wall in any layout you’d like. You can even go on Pinterest to find some photos to compliment and bring together all your travel photos.

Digital Photo Albums

If you don’t have any space in your home to decorate, you can create a digital album! You can collect them on your phone or computer’s photo album, or even post them to Facebook and other social media sites.
